The new testament was wrong!
A few instances of
WHERE THE NEW TESTAMENT
WAS WRONG!!
«…Broken cisterns that can hold no water.»
(Jeremiah 2:13).
a) In 2Corithians 3:13-14: «And not like Moses who put a veil on his face so the children of Israel should not look steadfastly to the end of that which was to be abolished (the Law of Moses), but their minds were blinded!»
Wrong!!
Moses’ face shone because he had spoken with YHVH face to face. It had nothing to do with the abolishing of YHVH’s Law, given to Moses – see Exodus 34:34-35. He veiled His face because the Israelites feared the beaming skin (ibid., verse 30), not the «end of the Law».
b) «Which veil is done away in Christ!» (2Corithians 3:14).
Wrong!!
It is the veil of false religion, which is now covering the gentiles, which is going to be done away with, and by YHVH, not Jesus! (see Isaiah 25:7).
c) In Matthew 1:21: «And she shall bring forth a son and you shall call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.»
Wrong!!
Not only didn’t he save his people from their sins, he actually caused them to sin! – «If I had not done among them the works which no other man did, they would not have sinned!» (John 15:24).
d) In Luke 1:69-71: «and hath raised up a horn of salvation (Jesus) for us in the house of his servant David… that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all that hate us»!
Wrong!!
Jesus not only failed to save Israel from its enemies, he himself was murdered by these very enemies!
e) In Romans 5:13: «for until the law (before Sinai!) sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law»!
Wrong!!
If sin is not imputed when there is no law, i.e. before Moses received YHVH’s Law on Sinai, why did He destroy Sodom and Gommorah etc. etc.??
f) In Matthew 24:34: «Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled»!
Wrong!!
That generation passed nineteen centuries ago, and none of those things were fulfilled! Verse 20 reads: «but pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day»! Jesus was speaking to his Jewish, Sabbath observing disciples, and not to some later generation! What special problems would «fleeing on the Sabbath Day» present to Jesus’ present day gentile «followers»? (Especially since the Sabbath was abolished by Paul!!)
g) In Matthew 16:27-28: «For the son of man shall come in the glory of his father with his angels; and then shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say to you, there are some standing here, which shall not taste of death, until they see the son of man coming in his kingdom.»
Wrong!!
Every one of his listeners has been dead and buried for centuries, and he still hasn’t shown up!
h) In Revelation 1:3 «Blessed is he that reads and they that hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written therein: For the time is at hand»!
Wrong!!
Not one of the so-called prophecies on that book have ever been fulfilled, then or after that period!
i) In Hebrews 10:37: «for yet a little while, and he that shall come (Jesus) will come, and will not tarry…»!
He’s been «tarrying» for nineteen centuries!
j) In Romans 4:13: «For the promise that he should be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or his seed through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith»!
Wrong!!
… and deliberately misleading! «And I will establish the oath which I swore to Abraham your father; and I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and will give to your seed all these lands, and by (mentioning) your seed (as an example) shall all the nations of the earth bless themselves; because Abraham hearkened to my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws»!! (Genesis 26:3-5)
k) In John 5:37: «And the Father himself which has sent me has borne witness of me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His shape!»
Wrong!!
«These words YHVH spoke to all your assembly in the mount, out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud and thick darkness with a great voice…. and you said: ‘behold YHVH our almighty has shown us His glory and greatness and we have heard His voice… we have seen today that the Almighty does speak with man, and he (man) lives!» (Deuteronomy 5:19-21)
l) In John 8:17-18: «It is written in your (?) law that the testimony of two men is true. I am one, that bears witness of myself; and the Father that sent me bears witness of me.»
Wrong!!
According to the Law, no one can bear witness to himself or against himself! Two reliable witnesses beside himself are required! Nor is «the father» a «man».
These are only a very few of the many inaccuracies, contradictory statements, false claims and false prophecies recorded in the book called the «New Testament» (not to be confused with the New Covenant described in Jeremiah 31:31-34) which is the basis of Christian doctrine, and the ONLY source of information about the life and deeds of Jesus of Nazareth. It is out sincere belief that to pin your eternal salvation on this book is a grave and fatal error! May we suggest that you leave the false gods and teachings of pagan Christianity and come to YHVH, the Only True Saviour, and His Torah Salvation today! May YHVH bless you.
