The deception exposed
THE DECEPTION EXPOSED
The Graeco-Roman church fathers, writing in the name of Jesus, have him make the following statement: ‘Think not that I came to destroy the Law… I came not to destroy but to fulfil! For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, one iota or one point shall by no means pass away from the Law, ‘till all be fulfilled! THEREFORE. WHO EVER SHALL BREAK EVEN THE LEAST OF THESE COMMANDMENTS, AND TEACHES MEN TO DO LIKEWISE. SHALL BE CALLED LEAST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN! ETC. ETC. (Matthew 5:17-19.) Jesus is presented here as a champion and upholder of the Torah Law. To be convinced that this is a DECEPTION, we have only to examine the following New Testament passages; Mark 7: 15-19 ‘quotes’ Jesus as saying the following: ‘There is NOTHING from outside a man that can defile him by entering him! But the things going out of him, those defile him!…. Do you not perceive that anything that enters a man cannot defile him, because it doesn’t enter his heart, but his stomach, and goes out into the drain, (this fact) makes ALL FOODS CLEAN!’ (KATHARIZON PANDA TA VROMATA, in the Greek.) Keeping in mind Jesus’ statement about anyone who teaches men not to fulfil even the LEAST commandment, we are astonished and dismayed when the same Jesus explicitly teaches men, in this passage, that all the dietary laws of the Torah are baseless and not to be observed! (compare contrast: Exodus 22:30; Leviticus 11:1-46; Deuteronomy 14:3-21, etc.)
In John 8:3-11 appears a story which was ‘unknown’ to Matthew, Mark and Luke. The scribes and Pharisees brought before Jesus an adulteress ‘caught in the act’. Their aim was to ‘tempt’ Jesus in order to have grounds to ‘accuse’ him, in the words of the gospel writer. Jesus said to them that the one who is ‘without sin’ among them should throw the first stone, (adulterers are stoned to death according to the Torah law). One by one they sneak away, having been put to shame by Jesus. Then Jesus, alone with the adulteress, tells her he condemns her not and sends her away, telling her to sin no more. This crude tale was obviously written by people ignorant of Jewish law. People were NOT just dragged away and stoned. Both the accused and the witnesses were subjected to thorough investigation before any verdict could be pronounced. But taking the story, moving and dramatic as it may be, at face value, we see Jesus sending away an adulteress, who was caught in the act of sexual and moral filth that adultery is, scot free, telling her ‘not to do it again’. According to YHVH’s Law (Deuteronomy 22:22-24) she should have been stoned.
Thus, Jesus and ‘fulfillment’ of the Law!? But most revealing of all is the statement supposedly made by Jesus when he said: ‘I say to you, resist NOT evil!’ (‘not to oppose evil’, in the Greek, Matthew 5:39), WHICH STATEMENT DESTROYS THE VERY BASIS OF TORAH LAW!! Deuteronomy 16:20 commands us: ‘justice, pursue justice that you may live!!’ Deuteronomy 13:6, 17:7, 17:12, 19:9, 21:21, 22:21-22, 24:7 commands us to ANNIHILATE EVIL!
THE QUESTION: WHO WOULD HAVE US SUCCUMB TO EVIL? WHO WOULD DIVERT US FROM OBEYING YHVH’S COMMANDMENTS? WHO WOULD SEEK TO DESTROY THE VERY FOUNDATION OF JUSTICE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, DIVINE LAW? WHO HAS OPPOSED YHVH IN EVERY GENERATION? IN WHOSE NAME HAVE YHVH’S SONS (Deuteronomy 14:1) BEEN PERSECUTED, PILLAGED, BURNED, BAPTISED? THE ‘BEGINNING’ OF THE ANSWER IS IN GENESIS 3:1-15. SEEKERS OF TRUTH, CONSIDER THESE THINGS!!
